Just a quick follow-up: The (UPS) missing package finally turned up. A neighbor had it for ~3 weeks and just dropped it off while moving out.

A request to the neighborhood: if you receive a package/letter/whatever by accident, please return it or give it back to the carrier in a timely fashion.

I'm extremely happy that this wasn't stolen, but a tiny bit disappointed that this person waited for so long. (A lot of panic and paperwork could have been avoided.)

Anyone had issues with missing packages recently? Over the last six weeks I've had three "delivered" packages go missing (two USPS, one UPS).

Because the first two were USPS, I assumed the post office lost them. However, I had a UPS package that was supposedly left on my porch disappear earlier this week.

I filed a claim for the second two packages and wanted to get some community feedback before I file a police report.
