Political campaign signs are supposed to be removed 30 days after the election (Pittsburgh Code 919.03.F.1 **). Perhaps the state removed your sign.  Although, I believe the standard protocol is to leave a notice rather than remove your property.

Hey Neighbors,

if you'd like to join us.

Please note that our next pick is (perhaps) one of those you've always been
meaning to read:
Madame Bovary, by Gustave Flaubert.

Discussion is set for Thursday, July 23 at 7pm
Location: Paris66
(a new bisro run by Highland Parkers Lori & Frederic Rongier)

Published in 1857, Flaubert's Madame Bovary has been called, variously, obscene;
an icon of Realism; a signal of the dawn of feminism; and the most perfect and
influential novel ever written, for its controlled and beautifully articulated
detail. Said John Updike: "Madame Bovary is like the railroad stations erected
in its epoch: graceful, even floral, but cast of iron."

I left my house for about an hour this morning (6/16).

When I returned my Obama yard sign had been taken down.  No chance this happened without someone pulling it apart.

There was also a flier on my door for Marshall Home Improvement 101 1-800-726-7398.  I don't know if this is a coincidence but I really wasn't gone for long and have had only one incident with the sign before since prior to the election.  No kids or other folks are running around the block like kids were the other time either.  This seems more than a coincidence to me.

I called the company and let them know how angry I was.  They denied the taking down of the Obama sign.

Could have been just someone hanging fliers for them I guess.  I'm ticked though!
