What makes you fearless?

"What makes ME fearless?"

I have spent a better portion of the last year thinking about this very question.

I have spent a life time running head on into my fears and insecurities. Facing them in therapy, greeting
them as welcoming as possible through recovery from alcoholism. Assessing, reassessing...and assessing again.

And I keep coming back to a few really basic things that keep me in the space of transformation and positive (and sometimes difficult) development...
  • The support and love of my family.
Without the knowledge that my family loves me and supports me through ALL of life's ups and downs, inquiries, missteps, and errors, I wouldn't feel as compelled to continue moving towards being my best self.

Just the look of unconditional love and the enthusiasm from my husband, son, sister, parents...Allows me to conquer anything that holds me back.
  • Living in authenticity.
That phrase "Living in authenticity" gets a lot of buzz these days. But it's true! The more in-line I live with myself, the more I flourish. The moment I step away from who I KNOW I am, and step into who I THINK EVERYONE ELSE WANTS ME TO BE, I feel internal discord. I feel fear creep up into my existence so poignantly that I shut down. I feel paralyzed by what others think.

My mom refers to a moment when I was a young, creative, independent, spirited child where I was playing at my grandparents. I picked up pine tree branches and used them to dance around and cheerlead. Anytime I "forget" who and where I am, I refer to that moment. That feeling of absolute freedom, radiant light, and living in MY authenticity.

My mission in life is to help people heal, to help people find their support, find their authenticity. It may look exceptionally different from mine. But that's the beauty of this journey. Helping people feel loved in a gentle, kind way.

I've been SO blessed to be asked to be a part of an event where we can help make this happen on a larger scale with Hayley Beth Worthman, Laura Early, Stacey Vespaziani, Janna Leyde, Kelly Bedolotolululemon athletica, and a few other inspiring people.

The Fearless Warrior Conference is taking place THIS Sunday, October 11 from 7am until 5pm, at Hotel Monaco (downtown).

The day includes exploring fear using 2 yoga sessions, meditation, breath work (both the meditation and the breath work sessions are led by yours truly) and storytelling from members of the local Pittsburgh community (7 speakers in total!!). You will leave with the support to approach the fears in your life in an opportunistic way, a new perspective towards fear and the power to question your fear head on. You'll also leave with a full belly of local eats from The Commoner, a new energy to burst past your barriers and a feeling of self renewal, determination and courage.

We have just a few tickets left!!! You can purchase discounted tickets with one of the following two options:
  • Buy 1 get $25 off
  • Buy 2 get 25% off total order
Get your ticket while there is still space!!!!

I hope that you'll find time to join us at the conference - if not, drop a line! Let me know how you are...

Bowing to your radiant and divine light,
jenn
