This may not get distributed until after the 3 p.m. hour, but the note below, from our Church School Director,  if you were wondering why the bells of St. Andrew's were ringing today!

Subject: [St_Andrews] National Bell RInging

Today at 3pm St. Andrew's will participate in a nation of bell-ringing to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s I Have a Dream Speech at the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. It will be 50 years to the minute after King ended his call for racial and economic justice with the words "let freedom ring."

Anyone wishing to help ring the bell please meet in the narthex at 2:50 to walk up to the bell tower.
