I  am very happy to report that we have started the official Highland Park Garden Club. We had a good meeting in September and started  a board of officers. We still have dvacancies. We will discuss, by-laws and office position and have a program on horticulture. We do not have a complete board yet so if you'd like to contribute to the running of the club please let me know. We will have a board meeting at my house (5900 Hampton, corner of N. Euclid and Hampton) on Saturday 12th at 10:00 am. Anyone interested in participating giving input is welcome.

 We will meet every 3rd Saturday morning at 10:00 am at the Union Project and everyone is invited. Hopefully the weather will cooperate for having a great turn out.

If you have a plant that is interesting or unusual or just blooming beautifully please share it with all by bringing it, it name, formal name and history in your garden  to the meeting.

 Mark your calendar for Saturday October 19th at 10:00 AM at the Union Project located at the corner of Negley and Staunton for our general membership meeting. 

The Highland Park Garden Club will offer education about plants and best gardening practices and work on ideas for beautifying our neighborhood especially  focusing on  beautifying our commercial Bryant street. All the shop owners on Bryant are invited to the board meeting on the 12th as well as the meeting on the 19th.

It is open to everyone in Highland Park and the surrounding neighborhoods.
