I'm working on a really fun production with the Renaissance City Choirs--that should be artistically satisfying as well as, uh, well read on:
June 4th, 5th and 6th – Let’s Talk About Sex, Baby featuring an ensemble of 8 (including your humble correspondent) RCC Singers in a special Pride Week cabaret performance. They will provide a light-hearted take on everything you always wanted to know about sex (but were afraid to ask) at the Grey Box Theatre, 3595 Butler Street in Lawrenceville.
One of my special bits is "Special" from Avenue Q, which was originally performed by the talented Lucy the Slut. I'll try to do it justice.
The show will include Tom Lehrer's The Masochism Tango, (amazingly fresh and naughty 50 years later), Gratuitous Nudity from the hit show Naked Boys Singing! and another hilarious number from Avenue Q that will teach you what the Internet is really for. (Statistical documentation may be provided.) Parental discretion is advised. I'll have my three kids there, of course. This is a much better teaching tool than I've ever come up with.
