OPT (Older Persons Transportation), a transportation service for people 60 and older, is trying to organize a grocery shopping group for the Highland Park area. For groups of at least 4 people, they offer door-to-door service and it only costs a dollar each way! The current plan is to go to the Shakespeare Giant Eagle and the Century III Wal-Mart, every other week.

But we need a few more people participating to have a viable group. The OPT office asked me to put the word out about it, and then forward to them a list of those who would like to participate. If this service will help with your transportation needs, please e-mail me.
