Dear Neighbors,

Well, we've done it - we have a play-based preschool co-op for 3 and 4 year olds up and running. We meet on Tuesday and Friday mornings from 9-12, or 9:30 to 12:30 with 4 children on Tuesdays and 3 on Fridays. There will be 2 adults working with the 5-6 kids. We take field trips every 3 weeks as a group and the hosting and helping duties rotate through the group. The location also rotates among the houses of those who are participating, at this point we are in Highland Park, East Liberty and Point Breeze and we plan to keep the participation in the East End.

Why am I sharing this with you? We are looking for two more 3 or 4 year old children to join our wonderful little group. The families involved are committed and caring and the children are lovely and 3 1/2 to just over 4 years old. If you would be interested in joining our group, please contact  me either via return email or give me a call 412.606.9263 (between 9am and 9pm). Something to think about: to join, your child should be able to follow directions given by an adult, and be developing the skill to participate with a group for 10-15 minute increments for crafts, activities and story times.
