St. Andrews has a number of events lined up this spring. On March 1, the church is holding a Shrove Tuesday Festival from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. There will be hot dogs, s’mores and chicken nuggets from Chick-Fil-A (while supplies last) on the Church lawn. The event will be followed by a jazz concert inside the church (attendees are asked to wear masks). The event is free and St. Andrews invites all to attend.
Then on Easter Sunday (April 17), families are welcome to attend Easter services at 10 a.m. and stay after for an Easter Egg Hunt on the church lawn. Or just come to the Easter Egg Hunt.
Mark your calendars now for the return of Jazz on the church lawn on May 7. More details to come soon via the list serve or St. Andrews’ website, www.standrewspgh.org.
This lent the church is partnering with the East End Cooperative Ministry and Off the Floor Pittsburgh. In March there will be bins both inside the building and on the rectory porch to collect non-perishable food items for the EECM. Then in April we will be collecting towels to be given to families helped by Off the Floor Pittsburgh. These can be bath towels, hand towels or kitchen towels.
