Speaking of public safety. Some of you may have seen or heard the police activity on Sheridan this morning (5/14). Two hooded youths snatched some purses this morning on St. Marie Street. Approximately 9:00 am - the police even brought dogs in to sniff the kids out who cut between the Collins and Sheridan and were believed to be hiding in one of the garages between those two streets. I saw them jump a fence to get away and I have seen these kids around here quite often, so they are our "neighbors". It was very scary to see so many police with guns drawn.
