This is really last minute, I know, but if you're around a television in
the next hour or so, I'll be profiled on the PBS Newshour with Jim Lehrer
tonight (Thursday, April 24). Just got word it would air today. There will be
some footage of me reading my work in Highland Park, I think.
Hope you catch it.

Subject: [Highland Park] t-ball
Is there organized t-ball around here open to 5-year
olds? I've noticed
what seem to be games of that sort in the field
next to the farm house
in previous years. I can't find any
information on the Web or in the
previous post on this list about kids'
sports.
Thanks,
David

Subject: [Highland Park] reputable used car dealers?
I'm in the market for a late model car to get me around, preferably in the under $6000 range. I have been burned by a dealer (North Hills Auto Mall--avoid them like the plague) and was considering going to CarMax in DC (while visiting my folks) until I read some pretty bad reviews on Ripoff reviews (a consumer website.) Can anyone recommend a car dealership that they know is reputable? I really want to work with a dealership b/c I can't in good conscience sell the car I have, I want to trade it in so it goes back into the auction system where it belongs.Any advice, respond to this email address. Thanks!Suzi Wackerbarth
