ugh, those enormous trees they just removed in the park :(

I am so disappointed that PWSA removed at least five enormous trees in the park, along Bunkerhill. When a guy from PWSA was presenting information about this work at an HPCC meeting a while back, I specifically asked about the impact to trees and he led us to believe that it was possible none would have to be removed. I guess this is just a general gripe. I plan to drop a note to PWSA and urge them to do more than a one to one replacement. Some of those trees had to have been at least 100 years old and you can't replace one of those with a tiny sapling.
