We have decided to push back the application deadline for Civic Leadership Academy. Applications will now be accepted until September 5th at Midnight. We are still accepting applications for the Mayor’s
Civic Leadership Academy Fall 2021 cohort. We would really love to see more people apply for this amazing, wonderful, program!
For a quick refresher, the Civic Leadership Academy is a free, virtual, 11-week course that encourages more informed community leadership by giving City residents an opportunity to learn about their local government. Classes are available for any resident
living within City of Pittsburgh limits and to business owners who operate within the City of Pittsburgh.
Learn more about the Civic Leadership Academy at
pittsburghpa.gov/oca/cla. Residents are encouraged to view recordings of the most recent sessions of virtual Civic Leadership Academy on YouTube. This cohort will be mostly virtual, but some sessions will
be offered in-person for a hands-on experience. COVID-19 CDC guidelines will be followed at all times.
We want to continue to have participants from as many neighborhoods as possible. Please feel free to help get the word out on social media by
sharing our post! Residents are encouraged to view recordings of the most recent sessions of virtual Civic Leadership Academy on YouTube.
