We have a number of new things happening at the Nuin Center on Bryant Street, and I wanted to make sure you were kept in the loop.

First, we welcome two new practitioners:

Laura Drakulic offers massage therapy, trigger point therapy, and reflexology. If you are interested in scheduling an appointment, she can be reached at (412) 860-1958

Carlos Quezada, is a practitioner of Naturopathy and TCM, and offers Ayurvedic Consultations. He has recently moved back to the area from Chicago. To make inquiries and schedule appointments, contact him at (412) 424-2233.

Second, we are offering a brand new daytime Hatha yoga class, starting next Tuesday, October 18, 10-11:30 AM. The drop-in fee is incredibly affordable at $8, and beginners are welcome. Thursday, October 20, 6-8 pm - The Sacred Relationship of Plants
Instructor: OlaTokunboh Obasi, medical herbalist and intuitive healer

This is a monthly series underlining plant use in personal, spiritual, and energy healing. Ola is new to Pittsburgh, and we are thrilled that she is using our facility to offer her workshops.

Saturday-Sunday, November 5-6, 2-6 pm - Primordial Sound Meditation
Instructor: Patty Epply, Chopra Certified Vedic Master

In this 2-day course you will learn Primordial Sound Meditation, a meditation technique dating back thousands of years to the ancient Vedic traditions of India.

Saturday-Sunday, November 5-6 & 19-20, 9 am - 12 pm - Perfect Health-Ayurveda Lifestyle Program
Instructor: Patty Epply, Chopra Certified Vedic Master

This 4-day course over 2 weekends offers a five-step exploration of mind-body medicine and Ayurveda. The course is designed for the general public who has had little or no previous understanding of these concepts. Under Patty's guidance you will identify areas of disharmony among lifestyle behaviors, mind-body constitution, and your extended body (environment); and receive suggested ways to re-establish harmony; and support your journey to wholeness and optimal health.
