Join artist Kevin Snipes for a five-hour Master Class <https://unionproject.org/classes/master-class-kevin-snipes?key=Master%20Class%20with%20Kevin%20Snipes&code=#18C900A>dedicated to advanced surface and color application techniques using underglaze on unfired porcelain tiles. The class will explore techniques including inlay, sgraffito, Mishima, and wax resist with a focus on color, line, shape, modulation, and individual expression. Please bring your sketchbook for ideas and brainstorming. All ceramic tools and materials for the class will be included, but if you have a favorite brush or carving tool, feel free to bring it along. Your fired and finished tiles will be ready to pick up approximately three weeks after the workshop. A one hour break will be provided for lunch; please bring your own lunch or visit a local establishment for refreshments.
