I trust that everyone is enjoying the summer.

Recently Commander Lando sent an email announcing a special Town Hall Meeting for August 25 called by Chief McLay. (Information included below)
The Commander has requested that Zone 5 Public Safety Council members serve as greeters and if possible I am asking for at least 5 members to volunteer to pass out and collect question and answer cards during the meeting. If you are interested in doing so please respond to this email. 

Please note that our next scheduled meeting is September 13 to be held injunction with the Union Project.

The Pittsburgh Bureau of Police and Chief Cameron McLay will be hosting a series of "town hall-style" meetings in each of the police Zones. I wanted to reach out to each of you and extend an invitation to the meeting scheduled for Zone 5.

At this meeting we will discuss crime stats, trends, and give an overview of our goals and efforts in the community. The rest of the meeting will be open for Q&A from our residents.

The Zone 5 town hall meeting will take place on Thursday, August 25th, from 6:00pm until 9:00pm. The meeting will be held at the East End Cooperative Ministries, which is located at 6140 Station Street. (For those of you who are not familiar, I attached a map from the EECM website, below).
