I was awakened on Saturday around 5:30 a.m. by the sound of rapid gunfire.  I called 911 and the operator told me that something was happening at Portland and Bryant.  Does anyone know what?  I wasn't aware that hoodlums were such early risers.

 

I checked the police blotter for Zone 5 but didn't see anything related to the shooting.  I did, however, see that there was a burglary in the 5000 block of Elgin.  Yikes!
