Hi there folks –

I have tried to get a couple of speakers for tonight’s meeting, but a lot of calls unreturned.  With the on slot of these below e-mails over the past few weeks, both with break-ins, as well as nuisance problems that make our lives frustrating, I wish to focus this toward these events.  I have asked Officer Michael Gay, as well as Lauren Byrne from the Mayor’s Office, to attend this evening’s meeting at St. Andrews starting with the Board Meeting at 7:00 PM.  I do not wish this to be a complaining session, but rather bring thoughts and suggestions on fixing our neighborhood problems.  I look forward to seeing you at 7:00 this evening.

Mike

I am sorry for the recent wave of theft in Highland Park!

Just as a reminder: I am sure you have all done this, but please be sure to report any theft or break-ins to the Police so that they can accurately track these events and can coordinate policing strategies to address.

Thanks!

my wife's car was also broken into in front of our house 1105 heberton, 10/15.  we're pretty sure it happened between 9-11 am.  no damage, things tossed around, a piggy faced change purse full of quarters missing.  if anyone happens to find the little piggy change purse, please post.....i'm sure the quarters are gone......rich allen
