Hootenanny, most commonly,  refers to a folk-music party. Joan Baez made the analogy that a hootenanny is to folk singing what a jam session is to jazz. The next hootenanny at Your Inner Vagabond, 4130 Butler St. will be on Sunday, Feb. 8 from 4-7 p.m. Please bring your copies of Rise Up Singing if you own them. We will go around the circle and each person on their turn can select a song which we will sing in unison accompanied by several guitars, a flute, and perhaps an autoharp and bodhran.
