Nancy,

Thank you for alerting the School Board's transportation department.  But not all school buses that drive in the city are contracted by the PBOE. Being the time of the year it is, I kind of doubt that it was a PBOE school bus.
 
You need to write to the Safety Director of the bus that nearly hits you or operates in an unsafe manner.  The School Board should also be alerted during the school year since the probability is that it has been contracted by the PBOE.

Dear Neighbors,

I recall there was an email exchange earlier in the year regarding reckless 
driving by school buses around our neighborhood. I have almost been hit twice in 
the last 2 months by a school bus and decided to write a letter to the Director 
of Pupil Transportation. I have attached the letter in the event that it is of 
interest to anyone.
