Dear Neighbors,

I am the Leader of Girl Scout Troop 54281.   The Troop is going to be working on a Bronze Award project from January - May.  While we have not yet exactly settled on our project, I am fairly certain that it will involve the outdoors and nature.

I am looking for someone who knows a bit about Carnegie Lake down by the pool, its history and its decline.  One of the projects under consideration is a nature guide to that body of water.  What are the seasonal changes, plants, birds, etc.?    Why is it valuable to Highland Park?

The advisor would look at our project proposal, make constructive suggestions, and perhaps help with identification.  There will not be any work alone with the girls or one-on-one.

I think the advisor would be involved for about 5 hours over the 5 months.  Please email me if you are interested or have questions.  Oh, sorry but this doesn't pay. :(   It's an informal arrangement between an individual and the Troop.

Thank you.
