Dr.Vandana Shiva, world renowned physicist, environmental activist and eco-feminist, named one of the seven most  influential women  in the world by Forbes magazine in 2010.  She lives in India.

She will accept the award at the annual Thomas Merton Award dinner on Thursday, November 3 at the Station Square Sheraton Hotel.
