Thank you to everyone who recycled their Christmas tree this year!  According to the Mayor's Office, across the 12 Christmas Tree Recycling drop-off locations citywide, the city collected - and diverted from the landfill - 3,255 Christmas trees this season (an increase from 2,050 Christmas trees collected in 2018-19). In the spring, they estimate that they will be able to generate 36.8 tons of pine mulch to distribute to residents and utilize in our parks. Stay tuned for an announcement on the distribution of pine mulch!
