Good Morning Neighbors

Yesterday (Saturday) the mulch was spread around the SuperPlayground. Monica and Vernon did a great job of getting the playground cleaned and repaired, and now the ground is covered in mulch.

In the areas where the mulch was delivered, there is still some left in the grass. It would be great to clean that excess mulch off of the grass. I went up there this morning, but did not get a lot done because I was talking too much again.

So I thought that some of my neighbors could use a little mulch for their yards, and would want to go and rake it for free from the grass. It is fresh, nice mulch that would be good for a path. Since you will get grass in with it, I would not use it in the garden.

If you think you could use some free mulch, and want to go and rake it out of the grass, it is there waiting for you. Next to the shelter, you will see the mulch in the grass. Bring a rake and something to carry the mulch in. It is still dry, so it is not too heavy.

I dont know how they did it, but Monica and John Watt were up there from 8:30 to 4:30 yesterday spreading mulch. I was there at 9 and left and came back later, and while I was there I was talking as much as working, but John and Monica were working the entire time. I just wanted to thank them, and everyone else who helped yesterday. The playground looks great!
