I wanted to make every one aware of a needed cause that you might consider when looking to make donations.  A coworker's husband, Michael Harrell, works with children who are aging out of the foster care system.  While not officially a part of his job, he attempts to set them up in furnished apartments. These kids have nothing... so he is looking for anything you might imagine-- beds, furniture, washer/dryer, silverware, plates, cups, glasses... you get the idea.  Anyways, if you are looking to get rid of items around your home that are in good condition, please consider giving Michael a call at 412-298-2975.  He works for Allegheny County CYF.
