Thank you for this mentorship opportunity. But neighbors should also be aware that Hello Neighbor has fired employees for unionizing. https://www.pghcitypaper.com/news/pittsburgh-nonprofit-fires-three-employees-in-alleged-anti-union-campaign-23300447

Hi Neighbors!

Hello Neighbor was founded right here in HP in 2017 so I like to bring forward opportunities from time to time to all of you who have supported us so much!

Our signature program - and the first one we created in 2017 - is now open for applications. It's our Mentorship Program, applications are open through July 30.

Below is information and how to apply. I always love to see new applications from Highland Park neighbors!

Also thank you for any help in spreading the word.

If you or your family are looking for something meaningful to do this year and are excited to connect with someone from a different culture, now is the time! Hello Neighbor is a nonprofit organization founded in 2017 by Pittsburgher Sloane Davidson that supports refugees and immigrants as they rebuild their lives here in Pittsburgh.

They are actively recruiting for their signature Mentorship Program which directly matches a Pittsburgh family with a refugee or immigrant family to participate. This will be their 8th cohort and they have matched over 150 refugee families from 26 countries of origin.

The United States can be a hard new world for our new neighbors who are looking for friendship and guidance as they make their new homes here.

Join us! Applications are open through July 30th with a program kickoff in September. This is a 8-month program around 10 hours per month.

For more information, to apply, or connect directly with their Mentorship Manager by scheduling a call below.
Best,
Sloane
