Between Sherry Goldman and Ethan Winograd, I
think some good things can develop. A database of area resources can be
established and maintained, with footnotes indicated about bad experiences.
Those negative experiences need to be documented well with dates, reported to
Better Business Bureau, etc., or else they can ruin a business over a
conflict of personality and expectations not made clear.
If there is enough support offered, I am
willing to help enter data - I'm not experienced in on-line website maintenance.
I have been "saving" the summaries of recommendations for a variety of services
over the past several years, but NOT the recent negative reports. (Maybe someone
else has them).
By the way, much of what Sherry proposes is
doubled in Angie's List. Although that is not a free service, Angie's List
does document positive and negative reports very carefully, and works to resolve
the negative reports to everyone's satisfaction.
