Hello Surprised Gardeners! (Who knew we'd be out in shirt sleeves tending our gardens in mid March.)

If you have any left over bulbs from spring planting that you'd like to share with the Fulton Elementary garden volunteers, there is a space dedicated to the students to plant and tend and learn how all this birds and the bees stuff works. Just drop off your bulbs (label what they are) on the porch at the address below and we'll get the kids started:
1146 N Negley Ave
And of course we are looking for neighborhood volunteers to help keep the lovely garden in shape. The Community Gardens & Greenspace Program of the Western PA Conservancy did a fabulous job creating a new garden space in front of the school about which the whole neighborhood can be proud. Let me know if you'd like to come join us and then we'll work out a time of the week to meet on Hampton St at Fulton Elementary.
