Hi neighbors -
The Reservoir of Jazz series starts this Sunday near the fountain at the main entrance to the park.
We will have live jazz music every Sunday in August. The concerts start at 5 pm and go until 7 pm.
This week's featured performer is a Pittsburgh jazz legend: Jimmy Ponder. If you have not heard this man's music then you are missing one of the pleasures of this life.
There will also be activities for the kids as well as community groups on hand to share information about their efforts and offerings.
We are also excited that we have a new food vendor this year, Reynolds on Bryant.
Here is the remainder of the lineup for this year's series. If you are willing to help us out by volunteering we can always use your help. Stop by the HPCC tent and ask about volunteering, or just show up early and ask for me - we will find something for you to do!
Schedule:
8/3 - Jimmy Ponder
8/10 - Don Aliquo
8/17 - MCG presents -Tribute to Stanley & Tommy Turrentine
8/24 - OPEK
8/31 - David Pellow
See you at the park,
Ethan
