Hello neighbors, I had 76 masks when i started and they are all gone. The box is empty! Please if you have time make masks for all our para medical professionals. This is not a mask for hospital nurses in operating room! These are masks that are mostly used I am told to cover their Professional masks and exchanged with each patients so the N95 they re- used can last longer. They get washed and reused. As I was doing this I found that a double piece of light wire inside a piece of fabric and tucked where the bridge of the nose will make the masks even tighter around the nose. Also if you have some Pellon (used for stiffening regular fabric) and non woven fabric is actually really good at stopping contaminants. It is widely used in Washington state in between the cotton layers.. Another very good liner is vacuum HEPA rated bags. I used all I had. if you have any to donate please put in the box on my porch. Also remember that ties are much better than elastic in the long run. Please everyone, there is cotton fabric on my front porch if you don't have any and lots of simple masks ideas on Youtube. Get to your sewing machine, please the demand is great and things will get worse before they get better. Such a small way to help out our brave care givers. Thanks a lot, Elisabeth
