Greetings,
I was referred to your neighborhood group as one your neighbors let me know that some individuals may be interested in helping us out.
I am writing on behalf of Operation Safety Net,
http://www.pmhs.org/operation-safety-net/index.aspx, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving street-homeless individuals.
Over the winter, Operation Safety Net transitioned sixty-five individuals from the severe weather emergency shelter to their own apartments; we have also recently
transitioned another dozen from street to permanent housing. Most individuals do not have any items other than what they carry each day. OSN staff is in need of gently used or new household items to assist these clients in making a home (see attached listing.)
If you have items during your Cabin Fever or Spring Cleaning days, please send me (rvereen@mercy.pmhs.org)
or Alex Cirillo (acirillo@mercy.pmhs.org) an email of what you can donate.
If you send a donation, we can also send you an acknowledgement letter as well as you will receive a note from our Development Office for a donation to a tax-exempt
charity organization.
Thank you for helping make a difference in the lives of many individuals.
Please also do not forget us if you plan on relocating or moving soon
