Hello, neighbors
This morning, between 6:30 & 7:20 a.m., perhaps as many
as 15-20 cars had a window smashed out on Stanton between Highland & the
tennis courts near the park entrance, with the heaviest concentration between
Highland & the bend in the street.
I called 911 around 7:30. The dispatcher initially said the
owners would have to report it, but since there were so many, she said she
would send someone to see if the guilty party(s) were still around.
Not every single car was hit – sometimes it was the
driver window, sometimes the back, at least once the rear window (in an SUV).
The SUV still had things in the back that weren’t taken, so I don’t
know if theft was the motive.
