We just had our fence replace and we used Mr. Higgs and his subcontractors for this job after receiving a recommendation from a neighbor. After calling several contractors, Mr. Higgs was the only one that followed through on coming to the house to review the job and give us a detailed quote. We were happy with the communication before, during and after the job was completed.  And the fence is exactly what we wanted. 

Mr. Higgs is a general contractor and uses subcontractors for his jobs. We were extremely happy with the subcontractors that he used to build our fence. If you plan to call Mr. Higgs for a quote, ask him which subcontractor he plans to use and ask for referrals specific to that subcontractor.

His team seemed poorly equipped to do the job, they were uncooperative about doing proper cleanup, and he was very rude when we asked him to do what he had promised in his estimate.

I would not recommend him.
