The Highland Park web site has forums, but we're not using them yet. I hope to announce something about that soon: <http://www.highlandparkpa.com/> Forums have been tried *twice* already in Highland Park that I know of; they failed to catch on. Maybe the growth of the Neighborhood list indicates that they would be successful this time... The first time forums were available was when the Highland Park web site was originally launched in 2000. When I took the site over in 2001 there had only been "test" posts. The second time was during the Community Plan process. The Community Plan site is still up but the barely-used forums there are broken: <http://highlandparkcommunity.com/>
My last message had, indeed, a message when it left my server and, likely, when it went through the moderator, but somehow ended up blank after that.
This problem is caused by sending messages in HTML format with no accompanying text alternative. People sending to the Neighborhood list should not have to worry about such details. I hope to solve this problem by tomorrow. Rudy
