On behalf of the students and families of Dilworth Traditional Academy, I am writing to ask if you would be willing to support our school with a donation to a silent auction this spring.
The Dilworth PTA will be hosting an online silent auction to raise funds for the coming year. The money raised through this auction will support some wonderful programs, sending food home over the weekend for kids in need, renting a basketball court for Dilworth students to practice off site, covering the cost of yearbooks for every student, and purchasing water bottles and t-shirts to provide to students at an end of year picnic. In addition to these things, the PTA also supports the school’s teachers directly by helping to fund ad-hoc needs during the year.
The online component of our auction will be available to the entire community beginning on Wednesday, May 15th and ending on Sunday, May 19th, with all money raised benefiting the Dilworth PTA.
I am currently looking for donors. Auction items may include artwork, jewelry, lessons, gift certificates, event tickets, gift baskets, etc. All donations are tax deductible and as a donor, you will receive publicity prior to and during the event, which will be viewed by every invitee, attendee, and online bidder.
