Today (Saturday) after noon I discovered that a mail package left on the porch had been opened.  The contents (a prescription) were still in the package, but none of the paperwork.  There was a packing slip left loose, which turned out to be for another, unrelated package.  That package was nowhere to be seen. I filed a police report, and we will try to talk to the mail carrier to see if he recalls whether these two packages were OK when he left them (and if they were the only packages--non-package mail was put through the mail slot as usual).  This is in the 1100 block of Sheridan.  This is the first time we can recall having packages taken from our porch.
