2024 FARMERS MARKET SEASON KICKS OFF MAY 12 IN SQUIRREL HILL

The 2024 Farmers Markets Season kicks off May 12 in Squirrel Hill! This season, we’ll have a rotating schedule of weekly markets in Squirrel Hill, the East End, Carrick and the Northside.

A reminder: All four CitiParks Farmers Markets accept food stamps (SNAP), credit, and debit cards as part of Just Harvest’s Fresh Access program.

SNAP shoppers can get fresh, nutritious and locally grown food, including produce, meat, dairy, bread and baked goods, produce plants, seeds and honey. Food Bucks give Fresh Access food stamp shoppers extra money to spend on fruits and vegetables.  For every $5 spent in food stamps, users receive an extra $2 to spend on produce. Stop by the bright red tent to learn more!

Hot prepared food items, alcohol and non-food items are not eligible for SNAP purchases.

To learn more about the markets, check out the schedule and locations on the CitiParks website, linked here.

Our Market Locations each have their own Grand Openings. Attend them all, or find the one nearest to you! Read more from the Farmers Markets monthly newsletter, linked here.

Want to be a vendor at the markets? The East End and Northside markets still have open spaces for produce vendors! The East End market also has open spaces for meat, egg, and bread vendors. Apply to be a vendor on the CitiParks website, linked here.
