My husband was out walking our dachshund on the 1000 block of Sheridan Ave about 4 pm when a young shepherd or Shepard mix attacked our dog. My husband was able to finally pick up our dog and get him away. Thankfully being a long haired dog was a good thing today. Jethro has no bites that broke the skin. 

If it is your dog- it’s loose. If it is a stray I can call the city. I met them in the car as the dog would not go away.
