Hi! I am in need if a lifeguard for our Dilworth afterschool swim program at Obama high school during the month of May/beginning of June. The program should run for 4 week. The program is a parent/guardian swim program for students in K-3. Both get in the pool to learn basic swimming techniques. This will be the 5th year for the program and is a great kick off for the summer. It is great to see students build swimming confidence! I have not yet chosen a day of the week since I can have some flexibility, but I would Iike to ideally run the program on Tuesdays from 4:15 to 5:45. The dates I am looking at are as follows: May 13th May 20th May 27th June 3rd Any interested lifeguards must have current lifeguard and CPR certificates. I would need to have copies either emailed or sent to me in order to get our program approval within a few days of confirming your hiring. The pay is $10 an hour, which is payed through the Dilworth budget after the end of the program. I actually had a great lifeguard from Obama in the fall who I found on the list serve, but I have lost her contact information. In fact all of my lifeguards have pretty much come from the list serve and been great! Any old "pros" or newbies are welcome to share interest in the position though!
