Amizade Global Service-Learning is so excited to have another group of students (ages 15-17) from Bolivia and Peru travel to Pittsburgh this fall through the Youth Ambassadors Program! We are seeking host families and would love for you to apply to host students or spread the word to friends and family who may be interested in this opportunity.

The program will take place from Saturday, October 22nd - Saturday November 5th. Go to this link for more information on hosting a Youth Ambassador.

Here’s some basic info about dates and expectations:

The Pittsburgh exchange will take place from October 22-November 5, 2016
Students will arrive in Pittsburgh the morning of Oct. 22nd, and all of the families are invited to join us for a brunch. The families will then take the students home with them.
Most days will be fully scheduled for students from 8:30am-5pm. Free days with host families will take place on the following dates: Sunday, Oct.23rd and Sunday, Oct. 30.
On Saturday, Oct. 29 you and your student will be invited to join us at the Zoo if you wish (free admission!), and are also invited to picnic with YAPSA students and alumni in Highland Park
The evening of Friday, November 4th all host families will be invited to a farewell dinner.
Students will leave for Washington, D.C. early on Saturday, November 5th.
