Hi neighbors,

We are in the process of doing some construction on our house here in Highland Park, and had a pile of scrap aluminum neatly stacked on a pallet next to our dumpster last night. We did not have the chance to cover it up last night with a tarp, as intended . . .  and when we walked out this morning, we discovered that this pile of tan soffit, facia and edging scraps has vanished.

On the offhand chance that someone spotted it on the pallet, became concerned we were dumping it, and then liberated it with the intention of saving it from the landfill, please rest assured we were planning on recycling it. If it has not yet made its way to the scrap yard, we'd would greatly appreciate its return.

(We're all for scrapping and dumpstering in general, as it can really cut down on how much waste gets landfilled, but if it looks like the owner has plans for it - and it's NOT in the dumpster or in a trash pile - please ask first!)

Thanks!

Martha
