Cheryl Klein, a resident of O'Hara Twp, is undertaking a volunteer clean-up project at the Washington Blvd. and Negley Run Blvd. corridor. She is looking for able-bodied people over the age of ten (10) to bring their yard cloppers, chain saws, gloves and whatever tools they have to clean up brush. The brush will be gathered and placed at curbside for the City of Pittsburgh to collect.This will take place on Sunday, April 6, 2014 from 8 a.m. until 12 noon with volunteers meeting at the #5 police station on Washington Blvd. Volunteers will be required to sign an accident waiver.
Please step up to help beautify this area which has been neglected for many years. Every time you pass this thoroughfare, you will feel so good knowing that you helped to make this area of Pittsburgh another pleasant sight.
