Join Pittsburgh Trails Advocacy Group (PTAG) for a "Gala Workday" in Highland Park Saturday, June 8, 2013! We will be building some new trail, pruning and hauling rocks but we'll mostly be working in or near the old dump section of the park so most of our work will be trash removal.
Gloves and some tools will be provided but please bring your favorite pair of gloves and pruning tools if you have them. It is recommended to wear sturdy boots, long pants. Eye protection is encouraged.
To reduce waste, please carry your own water bottle. Water to fill your water bottle will be provided.
There will be many different jobs for all ages.
Food & drink will be provided as well!
Please help by volunteering your time to enhance the beauty of this 380 acre city park. Strengthen your bonds with other like-minded individuals and families in your community.
Afterwards, enjoy an outdoor activity on the multi-use trails with your fellow volunteers.
