The Open Door, a new church development of the Pittsburgh Presbytery
housed in the Union Project (corner of Stanton and Negley) is seeking a part
time (5 hours/week) bookkeeper to maintain and manage
all financial records of the Open Door.
The applicant must have: a mastery of QuickBooks & Excel; A Background/Experience
in Bookkeeping; An Understanding of nonprofit/small business budgeting and
financial reporting processes (or ability to learn); be a self-starter with
strong initiative; have a strong organization, management, problem-solving, and
delegation skills; have a competent knowledge of necessary Microsoft Office
software; and an ability to work independently as well cooperatively with staff
and members of the congregation.
