Propelle is hosting a Style Summit on Saturday, October 13 from 1 - 4 pm
at the Alloy School solving the question women entrepreneurs have struggled with for years:
how do I dress for success while honoring my personality and talents? The day will feature
successful female small business owners including: photographers, hair and make-up stylists,
clothing stylists and fashion bloggers offering insight into styling yourself for success. Featured
speaker at the event will be clothing designer, Kiya Tomlin.
Today’s independent small business owner is not tied to her desk, she needs to connect to her
customers both online and in person offering the opportunity to brand not only her business but
her own signature style. The Propelle Style Summit was created to give women in Pittsburgh
the opportunity to rebrand their style, setting them up to feel more confident and understand
how their image effects business.
This event will include the opportunity to learn from local experts including Ms. Tomlin in
addition to presentations by a line-up of Pittsburgh’s hottest fashion stylists speaking on how to

Attendees will have the opportunity to walk away with a professional head shot taken by the
photography team and to enjoy consultations with beauty experts who understand the creative
small business owner’s needs. Also important for success, attendees will mix and mingle with
other women also growing their own small businesses.
