[Highland Park] homeowners inssurance

I had damage this winter because of the storm. My insurance company, Travelers, paid for it. Now they claim that they did not add a surcharge because of the claim, since it was a catastrophic situation. Yet my insurance premium went up quite a bit. I wonder what other people's experience has been, and do you have an insurance company you would recommend that did not raise rates. many thanks, Irina
