As many of you know, I have my masters in Food Studies from Chatham University and I'm currently working for City Planning on the Urban Agriculture and Food Policy front. I'd like to pilot a program in Highland Park....

Do you have land to garden, but no time? Would you love to see fresh vegetables and herbs growing in your back or side yard, but don't want to do the labor, and can't afford to hire someone?

Consider allowing someone else to grow stuff on your property in exchange for produce. Sometimes called a Peppercorn Rent this practice will help improve the soil and the look of your property, decrease your maintenance and provide you with produce all summer!

If you have land* you'd be willing to "rent", please let me know! I am organizing a small group of experienced growers to participate this summer.
