Hello Neighbors, My Cadette Girl Scout Troop is currently working on a service project making re-useable sanitary pads for girls in Kenya. The link to the project is available here: http://www.ndsu.edu/fileadmin/nursing/PantiesandPads_Brochure.pdf If you have extra larger pieces of cotton flannel or water proof fabric (used in cloth diapers - called PUL - Polyurethane fabric), please consider donating it to this important project. There are still places in the world where personal hygiene supplies are unaffordable and/or unavailable for many girls. Sometimes, when attaining an education becomes too much of a "hassle" the girls drop out. Please email me if you have fabric to donate. I can certainly pick it up.
