Critical watering alert: water your trees!
The weather in Pittsburgh has been hot with no rain, and the forecast looks to be much of the same. It's important to water trees and shrubs this week. Even established trees can suffer during periods of prolonged heat and drought. Remember to water trees slowly to ensure the water percolates down through the soil to where the roots need it most.
Please encourage your neighbors to water their trees as well!
