Hello, neighbors,

    I am a teacher at the public high school in Lower Burrell, PA (near New Kensington, off Route 28 north).  We are trying to put together a recycling program at our school, but are having trouble with funding because of recent budget cuts (I'm sure you're all familiar with that issue).  I'm writing because we're searching for a car port to shelter the bins that the recyclable items will be held in until the recycling company can come retrieve them. 

 

I know this is probably a long shot, but are there any companies or persons that you know of who make donations to schools?  Anybody that makes donations or provides grants for efforts to protect the environment?  I have tried Lowes and a hardware store that's local to our school, but have no promising leads.
